Radiology Technologist

Role Overview As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality results in collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in clinical and technical functions. Prepare patients, verify identification, and ensure adherence to protocols. Perform imaging studies, review image quality, and operate related systems. Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines. Educate patients, ensure comfort, and document procedures accurately. Assist and instruct colleagues and students on exam procedures and equipment use. Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and reporting equipment issues. Qualifications & Skills ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable). BLS certification. Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and contrast protocols. Strong communication, teamwork, and independent work skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a clean environment. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to see, read, and operate equipment; manual dexterity. Capability to lift, transfer patients, and navigate busy environments. Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of supplies and equipment.
