Experienced HVAC Service Technician

Family Owned HVAC Company!We are a family owned residential/light commercial HVAC company located in the beautiful Florida Keys. We are looking for a qualified, experienced service technician with a minimum of 3 years experience. Honesty and reliability a must. Applicant needs to be self-motivated, have good customer service skills, and a strong work-ethic. Duties include but are not limited to:Conducting HVAC servicing jobs promptly and efficiently.Performing routine HVAC service activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.Installing new air conditioning systems.Installing duct systems on new projects or existing projects.Available to be put into the on-call evening/weekend rotation.Performing related duties as directed by the Service Manager.Job Qualifications:Three or more year(s) of successful experience, either as a service or installation technician.Currently have an EPA Universal certification.NATE certification encouraged.Good verbal and reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers' instructions and to clearly communicate with customers, suppliers, and other Mead Mechanical employees.Physical ability to perform all duties noted above under the conditions, circumstances, and extreme weather conditions found in Florida.Interest and initiative in maintaining and advancing his or her HVAC skills through a combination of self-study, company training, manufacturers' workshops, and other professional development activities.Current valid FL driver's license and a clean driving record.Be able to pass a background check.Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.Compensation based on knowledge, skills, and experience.Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
