Quality Inspector

Job Title: Quality Inspector Location: Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Contract (6 months) Industry: Aerospace Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 / 40 hrs/Week Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies, ensuring compliance with dimensional and contractual requirements. Handle shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and order fulfillment of products, materials, parts, and equipment. Inspect dimensions and assembly of electronic and fabricated products using measuring instruments such as surface plates, height gauges, calipers, and micrometers. Inspect products for defects, poor workmanship, or document discrepancies. Review production documentation, vendor certifications, and test reports to verify product compliance with quality standards or customer requirements. Approve or reject parts, assemblies, and materials, and prepare inspection reports. Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Inspect circuit cards and other assemblies for compliance with IPC‑610, J‑STD‑001, and customer specifications. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of seamstress experience.
