Part-Time Credentialing Manager


CT Assist seeks a Part-Time Credentialing Manager. This position manages the credentialing and onboarding process for healthcare providers and clinicians across the United States including physicians, advanced practice providers, perfusionists, nurses and techs.

• Position type: hourly, part-time, $30/hour.
• Schedule: negotiable, ideally hours flex up and down with the needs.
• Harrisonburg, VA-based company - ideally in person but open to hybrid or remote.

Role Description

• Manage credentialing and onboarding for physicians, advanced practice providers, perfusionists, nurses, and technical clinicians working across the United States.
• Collect, organize, enter, and track provider documents and data required by facilities, VMS platforms, and internal compliance processes.
• Manage required verifications, including licenses, certifications, work history, health records, background items, and facility-specific requirements.
• Monitor checklists, expirations, outstanding items, deadlines, and start-readiness; follow up and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential credentialing records across internal, client, and compliance systems.
• Communicate clearly, take ownership, and follow work through to completion.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in hospital or healthcare staffing credentialing.
• Familiarity with credential verification, provider onboarding, VMS engagement.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and handoffs.
• Clear written and verbal communication and proficiency.
• Sound judgment with confidential provider, client, credentialing, and contract information.
