As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.
About This Office
Dekalb Dental Group is looking for a fun, friendly Dental Hygienist to join the team!
Schedule:
- Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm
- Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm
- Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm
- Friday 7:30am-2:00pm
Consistent Patient Schedule:
- Average approx. 7 patients a day
- 60min recare, 90min new patient appointment!
- SRP appointments are 60-90 minutes, flexible on hygienist need!
About DeKalb Dental Group:
- Join a 17-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community
- 13 operatories in a state-of-the-art facility, hosting 2 doctors and 5 hygienists during the week
- Located near the Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital, and down the road from Northern Illinois University and downtown DeKalb
Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
