The acute technologist is responsible for inpatient, outpatient, the emergency department & the operating room procedures to include trauma imaging or specialized imaging for patients with implants. The technologist must possess the skills and competencies necessary to work effectively across a variety of clinical settings and is expected to either regularly work in, or rotate through, an acute care facility as part of their ongoing responsibilities.What We're Looking ForEducation: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required. Applicable state license, required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
