Job Description

As a Dietary Cook you will work with the hospital staff to meet dietary requirements and food needs for all patients and employees. You will play an important role in maintaining food service standards in the facility. You will also work with the dietary aides and managers to create prompt service options. 

Responsibilities:

• Create meals and food for all patients following necessary dietary restrictions 
• Fill tray lines and create menus for employees and staff in the lunch and dinner areas 
• Maintain sanitary standards and following food safety guidelines and handling rules 
• Provide general maintenance of equipment and work with Dietary Aides for service 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2+ year of cooking experience preferably in a medical setting 
• High School Diploma or GED 
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
• Working with dietary needs and restrictions is a plus

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth
