ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking a skilled and driven Territory Sales Manager responsible for Aftermarket Parts Sales in NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, & ME. This role focuses on generating new business through outside sales efforts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Location: Remote (must reside within the assigned territory: NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, & ME KEY DELIVERABLES Build and maintain meaningful relationships with new and existing customers Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with Astec’s goals Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance issues related to parts, service, and new equipment Assist in training for existing and prospective customers Maintain accurate records of sales-related leads, contacts, and referrals, and communicate information to the appropriate departments KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop a thorough understanding of Astec’s goals, services, customers, and processes Manage customer accounts, including sales, credit issues, warranties, and business development within the territory Attend industry trade shows, meetings, and conventions to stay current on trends and generate business opportunities Participate in customer service training and other company-related events as needed Deliver results aligned with the company’s vision and mission Promote and support Astec’s core values Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times Perform additional duties as assigned that support business objectives REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred Five to ten years of sales experience preferred, with strong customer relationship skills Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns Ability to solve practical problems related to heating systems and parts Mechanical aptitude and ability to read mechanical drawings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel overnight approximately 3 to 4 days per week Valid driver’s license required Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Overnight travel approximately 3 to 4 days per week OUR CULTURE AND VALUES Employees at Astec embody the following values: Commitment to meeting customer needs Honesty and integrity in all aspects of business Respect for individuals Entrepreneurial spirit and innovation Safety, quality, and productivity INTERNAL CONTROLS NOTE This position includes internal control responsibilities.
