HR Onboarding Specialist

Location: Plantation, FL (Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

NationsBenefits is seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to support employee onboarding, background screenings, I-9/E-Verify processing, HRIS administration, compliance, and employee records management.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate new hire onboarding and pre-employment activities
Manage background screening and onboarding documentation
Process I-9s and E-Verify requirements
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Support HR compliance and audit activities
Assist with HRIS data management and reporting
Partner with hiring managers and internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Support HR operations and employee lifecycle processes

Qualifications

4+ years of HR Operations or HR Administration experience
Strong onboarding and new hire processing experience
Hands-on I-9 and E-Verify experience
Experience managing background checks and employment documentation
HRIS experience (UKG preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred

Healthcare industry experience
High-volume onboarding environment
Multi-state employee support
HR compliance and audit experience
