General Manager, Venue Connectivity Services

Telvero is hiring on behalf of our client for a General Manager, Venue Connectivity Services to lead the delivery and financial performance of connectivity services supporting convention centers and live event venues throughout Southern California. This role is responsible for overseeing service delivery, operations, customer experience, team leadership, and P&L performance while ensuring reliable wired and wireless connectivity for conventions, trade shows, and live events. Lead day-to-day operations for venue connectivity services across assigned locations. Own P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency. Oversee event planning, network readiness, staffing, scheduling, and service delivery. Ensure accurate order fulfillment and successful delivery of wired and wireless connectivity services. Partner with engineering and network operations teams to maintain network performance and reliability. Serve as the primary escalation point for customers and venue partners during live events. Build and maintain relationships with venue management, event organizers, exhibitors, and internal stakeholders. Support commercial initiatives by partnering with sales on customer solutions and service offerings. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team. Drive continuous improvement of operational processes, service standards, and customer experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 12+ years of experience in telecommunications, enterprise networking, venue technology, managed services, or event technology. Experience leading operational teams with P&L responsibility. Strong knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi, wired networking, IP connectivity, and network service delivery. Proven experience managing customer-facing operations in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting convention centers, stadiums, arenas, airports, hospitality venues, or other large public venues. Experience using ServiceNow and Momentus. Background in enterprise networking, managed services, or telecommunications. Experience supporting large-scale live events or mission-critical operations.
