Personal Banker

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Personal Banker to support daily branch and operational activities for a growing bank. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, supporting account maintenance, and assisting with cash management and compliance functions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality customer service to clients in person, by phone, and via email Process deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, ACH transactions, loan payments, and other banking transactions accurately and efficiently Assist clients with opening new accounts and maintaining existing accounts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance Maintain accurate records within the core banking system Monitor and elevate suspicious activity in accordance with BSA/AML policies Assist with daily branch balancing, cash drawer management, and end-of-day reconciliation Collaborate with internal teams including lending, operations, and compliance Cross-sell appropriate banking products and services based on client needs Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent banking experience Previous in banking, financial services, or a related field Knowledge of banking regulations including BSA/AML and basic compliance standards Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with core banking systems Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team-oriented environment Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
