An established boutique firm based in Orange County, CA with over 10+ years in practice is seeking a Mid-Level Business Litigation Associate with 3+ years to join their team onsite. This Mid-Level Business Litigation Associate will have experience with business litigation, including complex commercial disputes , ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters.

Salary range: $155,000-$225,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with active California Bar license in good standing
3+ years of experience handling business or commercial litigation matters
Strong legal research and writing skills with experience using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar platforms
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Effective oral advocacy skills with confidence in client-facing interactions and court appearances
Collaborative mindset with a commitment to professional growth and team success

 

Responsibilities
Prepare pleadings and manage law and motion practice including complaints answers demurrers discovery motions and summary judgment motions under senior attorney guidance
Handle all phases of discovery including planning drafting responding and identifying key evidence to support case strategy
Conduct targeted legal research on statutes case law and procedural rules relevant to ongoing matters
Draft clear and concise legal memoranda to support litigation strategy and trial preparation
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on case development strategy and execution
Engage with clients to gather facts provide updates and contribute to delivering high-quality legal services
