Sanitation Worker II

Overview

The primary focus of this position is to assist in cleaning equipment, in production and non-production areas of the plant. Coordinate daily operations in the absence of, and under direction from, the Supervisor. This individual is responsible for cleaning equipment, production, and non-production areas in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.


All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed:

• Clean equipment (disassemble and reassemble), and clean production and non-production areas (wrapping, storage, break room and restrooms), by hand scrubbing, machine scrubbing or chemical cleaning. Responsible for completing all required documentation at the end of the shift on tablets.
• Provide work direction and training to sanitation workers in the absence of, or under direction from, the Sanitation Supervisor or Sanitation Lead.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitizers, following safety guidelines.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with completing proper training to New Hires about sanitation policies and procedures.

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
