Cycle CounterThe Cycle Counter is responsible for the day-to-day warehouse inventory monitoring to ensure that inventory counts are current and accurate. The Cycle Counter is also expected to have mechanical knowledge and skills to operate a lift truck in a safe and professional manner under all conditions. When utilizing the Lift Trucks, the person in this role is expected to maneuver the forklift at a reasonable and prudent speed, looking closely for pedestrians or other motorized vehicles as well as fine manipulation with a respect to the preservation of product, building structure and property.This position places a strong significance on effective teamwork, clear communication, sound judgment, safety orientation, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and dedication to the quality of our product.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Maintain PIT certificationObserves all Safety Rules and is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.Performs duties of general help and job assignments as required.All Live Comfortably associates play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to assist with other duties and work in other departments when needed to meet those requirements.Cycle Counter Duties:Inventory:Correct locations based on cycle countsInvestigate and find missing stockCycle Count:Investigation of issues that arise through the cycle count processEnsure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventoryOpen cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product leftDetermine causes of mismatched inventory countsReport discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to team lead/supervisor/manager as required.Adhere to all Company safety policies, procedures, and best practicesPerform other duties as requiredRequirements, Skills & Qualifications:1-3 years' experience in same or similar industry preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and follow directionsExperience and Proficiency in Competencies necessary to be successful in role:Effective Communication and Interpersonal SkillsStrong teamwork with ability to Establish and Maintain Relationships in a professional mannerStrong problem solving and organizational skillsExhibits a high Sense of Urgency and works well under pressurePossess a Positive Manner and ApproachPractices Sound JudgementAdaptable and FlexibleHigh level of Reliability to include maintaining good attendanceStrong Safety OrientationDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate however there may be areas designated as Hearing Protection required and provided earplugs are mandatory in those areas.Not all areas of the plant and warehouse are climate controlled and exposure to heat and/or cold can occur.
