Controller

Our client is urgently looking for a controller to be onsite at their manufacturing facility located in Loris SC. Benefits which include medical/dental/vision starts day one of employment. Manufacturing and Netsuite experience is preferred, as well as PowerBi coming to be implemented. Client may be interested in a candidate who is willing to relocate for the right reasons if the candidate has the right background, however this is an onsite role. Perfect for a candidate who wants to live close to the beach but work in a quiet area within a 30 minutes drive to Myrtle Beach! salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Budgeting & Financial Reporting: Develop and adjust corporate budgets in NetSuite, perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual and prior year), and generate reports by sales channel and business segment. Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, and business analytics. AP & AR Management: Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable (vendor setup, timely payments, cash discounts). Manage Accounts Receivable, cash receipts, customer statements, collections, and Big Box Retailer dispute resolutions. Reconciliations & Oversight: Perform domestic/international bank reconciliations, direct labor allocations, sales commissions, and consigned inventory tracking. Reconcile shipping containers (freight, customs) and manage fixed assets, leases, and the corporate card program. Cost Accounting & Banking: Oversee cost accounting functions, maintain Asset-Based Lending (ABL) certificates, monitor financial covenants, and compile sub-ledger data for lenders. Audit & Compliance: Maintain year-round audit schedules, ensure potential exposures are accrued, and manage the external audit process.
