Travel Physical Therapist - Longview, Texas

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist experienced in inpatient rehabilitation seeking a travel assignment in Longview, TX. The role focuses on assisting patients to reduce pain, regain mobility, and improve overall function in a hospital setting.


Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to restore movement and manage pain.
• Educate patients on condition management and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient recovery and wellness.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Medhost preferred).
• Float between units as needed during day shifts from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Desired Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas physical therapist licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a Physical Therapist.
• At least 1 year experience in inpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with Medhost electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to wear any solid color scrub.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from assignment location.
