Drive Engineering Excellence on Mission-Critical Defense Programs as a Project Engineer with PDS Tech!

Pay Rate: $41.54/hr

 

We’re seeking a motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the US Army’s Total Integrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program —focused on the AGT1500 turboshaft engine powering the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank .

In this role, you’ll lead engineering projects, collaborate with government stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of complex aerospace initiatives.

What You’ll DoProject Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through completion
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and execute project plans , including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate across teams including:
  • Field Service Engineers
  • Overhaul Support Engineers
  • Technical specialists and program teams
• Work directly with U.S. Army stakeholders , including:
  • Technical Representatives
  • Product Managers
  • Senior military leadership

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present project status updates to leadership and stakeholders

Technical Support & Problem Solving

• Provide technical guidance to project teams
• Support risk management and issue resolution
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM-related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or technical project roles
• Proven experience managing cost, schedule, and scope for engineering projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities

Pay Details: $41.54 per hour
