Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Texarkana, Texas

A prestigious, physician-led medical group in Texarkana, Texas, is actively seeking a talented Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join its high-volume cardiothoracic anesthesia team. In this role, you will provide expert anesthesia care for a robust mix of complex cardiothoracic and structural heart procedures, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, thoracotomies, VATS, robotic lung resections, and endovascular cases . You will also support busy cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs. The practice is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), ultrasound-guided regional blocks, fiberoptic bronchoscopy, and GlideScope , allowing you to deliver state-of-the-art perioperative care. Proficiency in performing and interpreting intraoperative echocardiograms is essential, with opportunities to further hone advanced TEE skills.

You will collaborate closely with an experienced team of cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists in a collegial, team-oriented culture that prioritizes patient safety, clinical excellence, and professional growth. Compensation & Benefits

• Highly competitive base salary of $700,000 .
• Lucrative $100,000 sign-on bonus .
• Additional pay for call coverage (taken from home).
• Comprehensive benefits package including 9 weeks of vacation , full health insurance, malpractice coverage with tail, student loan repayment assistance, and generous relocation support.

Call Schedule

• Predictable 1:3 primary call rotation.
• Weekend call approximately 1 weekend per month (Friday-Sunday), with post-call time off and typically minimal late-night cases.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school (ECFMG certification accepted).
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology with extensive cardiac anesthesia experience.
• Fellowship training in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology strongly preferred (required for recent graduates).
• Proficiency in TEE and intraoperative echocardiography.
• Active or eligible for unrestricted Texas medical license.
• H1-B visa candidates are welcome and supported.
