Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Oregon license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sky Lakes Medical Center.

Unit Details: Medically Ready for Discharge Unit (RDU) caring for patients medically ready for discharge but delayed due to discharge barriers. Works under RN supervision to provide direct patient care, assist with discharge planning, reinforce discharge plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care, and collaborate with RNs, case managers, social workers, and the interdisciplinary team. May assign and supervise tasks to CNAs and unregulated assistive personnel (UAPs).

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years
