Electrical General Foreman

Job Summary Morley Moss, Inc. is constructing, renovating, and installing electrical systems for data centers, facilities maintenance, and upgrades across the DFW area. We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead new construction projects, overseeing field operations, managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safety oversight Conduct meetings Plan tasks Manage hours and budgets Distribute materials and tools Maintain project schedule Attend regular meetings Continuously assess employee performance Set positive examples for employees Hold employees accountable for performance, safety, and attendance expectations Hold foremen accountable Welcome criticism and use it for learning Design/lay‑out process Non-essential Job Functions Personal contact with owner/contractor Assist with daily foreman duties Identify potential leaders and mentorship opportunities Identify better processes Other Skills & Abilities Willingness to learn and improve Interact with clients Self‑starter Positive attitude Motivator Identify colors of wires Read and interpret prints and schematics Bend conduit by hand with hand benders Use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches Dig trenches by hand or power equipment Operate trenchers, backhoes, and lift trucks safely Operate two‑handed tools (cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers) Operate company trucks with manual and automatic transmission Read and interpret maps, blueprints, and written instructions Operate and work from mechanical lifts (electric or gas) Supervise assigned job‑site employees Communicate effectively in English (bilingual a plus) All other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid TDLR Electrical Journeyman License 6+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial) 2+ years as a foreman OSHA 30 certification CPR & First Aid certification NFPA 70E training Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strong leadership and communication skills Physical Demands Move freely and comfortably in various positions, including bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and working overhead or in confined spaces. Lifting and carrying materials and tools up to 60 pounds. Maintain standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires. Identify and voice Hazards to prevent poor ergonomics or incidents. Effective communication in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of employees and professionals. Work Environment The work environment may require working outdoors, exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical and electrical parts, high or precarious places, dust, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme weather, or extended sun exposure.
