Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing targeted academic support and consistent mentorship to help students succeed. Working closely with teachers, you’ll lead in-class and small-group tutoring, reinforce lessons in core subjects, and help maintain an engaging learning environment. You will build strong, supportive relationships with students, track progress, and contribute to school-wide initiatives. City Year offers collaborative teams, ongoing training, and leadership development in a mission-driven, inclusive culture focused on educational equity and social justice.
