TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Alexandria, Virginia, 22306!

Job Title: Endoscopy RN Travel Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy/GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years Endoscopy RN experience License: RN License required Certifications: BLS (AHA only) and ACLS required; PALS preferred Must-Have: Strong IV skills required; Must pass ECG competency exam on Day 1; No float Description: Endoscopy RN Travel position available. Shifts are 10 hours, typically starting at 6:30 AM. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends covered by call rotation. Weekday call begins at the end of the scheduled shift and runs until 7:00 AM. Weekdays without scheduled cases will convert to on-call days. Typical weekday call commitment is approximately 3 times per week. Weekend and holiday call is in 24-hour blocks from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Typical weekend commitment is approximately 3 weekends per 6-week rotation. Unit utilizes EMR systems. Approximately 25 procedures are performed per day, with 75% being outpatient and 25% inpatient. The role supports additional procedures where nurses assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op. Scrubs will be provided on the unit. First to float between ECT and Endoscopy assignments. On-call expectations include approximately 3 times per week. Holidays will be covered by on-call schedule. Epic access is required.
