Senior Data Architect with Financial Services

Our client a leading asset management firm, located in New York City is looking to hire a Financial Services Senior Data Architech. This is a Full Time Position. - Set the vision: Define a forward-looking data strategy and architecture aligned to business goals and emerging tech.
- Govern the data: Create and enforce policies for quality, security, privacy, and compliance.
- Engineer the platform: Design scalable models and databases; build/optimize ETL/ELT pipelines (SSIS, Azure tools) and integrate Snowflake.
- Enable insight: Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable BI-automate and maintain reports/dashboards (SSRS, Power BI; InDesign optional).
- Master the data: Implement MDM and data quality frameworks; profile, cleanse, and document data assets and flows.
- Continuously improve: Evaluate current designs, recommend upgrades, and track new tools to keep us competitive.
- 10+ years building enterprise apps/database solutions; 5+ years in financial service s.
- Deep expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS/SSIS/SSRS, Power BI, SQL Replication, Azure data services, Snowflake .
- In-depth knowledge of data security and compliance, including Azure security practices.
- Good understanding of Azure environment and DevOps
- Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server Data Management Services (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Strong chops in data modeling, governance, security/complianc e, and ETL/MDM.
- BS/MS in CS, Data/Information Systems (or similar).
- Any experience in the following is a plus: InDesign, Power Apps/Automate, ActiveBatch, Docker/Kubernetes, SharePoint, Azure DevOps.
