Industrial Print/Production Print Solutions Analyst

Overview Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Print/Production Print Solutions Analyst. The Industrial Print Solutions Analyst reports to the IP Service Manager with the purpose of providing technical leadership in pre‑ and post‑sales environments for Industrial Print Solutions (including KM‑1, MGI, and 3D). This role requires acting as a technical expert and relationship manager throughout pre‑installation, post‑installation, and ongoing support, interacting with sales, logistics, supply chain, and technical inkjet resources within KMI and MGI. Responsibilities Manage pre‑sales and post‑sales analyst efforts for all Industrial Print solutions within KMBS BUS. Act as the technical relationship manager prior to and following installation, articulating product and technology positioning to partners and customers at both technical and sales levels. In the pre‑sales environment: analyze customer needs into deliverable solutions, demonstrate and enhance proposed solutions, provide dealers and direct teams with proposal support, identify third‑party integration opportunities, and work with industrial print logistics staff to transition solutions to delivery. In the post‑sales environment: work with clients (operators, supporting staff) to ensure live‑production projects meet quality and workflow objectives; provide fee‑based consulting after D&A signing; handle non‑service technical discussions; troubleshoot with KMI Ink‑Jet point of contact; develop new opportunities; analyze complex workflows; drive world‑class execution of implementations; lead pre‑ and post‑sales training for clients, operators, and analysts; collaborate with regional sales, corporate marketing, training, support, corporate accounts, and government sales to increase revenue and brand awareness. Qualifications 10+ years’ experience in the Production Print industry, including offset and digital. At least 2+ years’ experience in the Industrial Print industry or an adjacent area; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, sales, and project‑management skills. Ability to navigate complex organizations, build trust‑based relationships, and drive results using deep understanding of applications, software, and hardware. Proven ability to work with software‑technology partners at business‑development and implementation levels. Result‑oriented leader with experience in complex sales and implementations within the Production Print arena. Professional maturity, cross‑group collaboration, and strategic thinking. Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies. Self‑starter who manages ambiguity, charts a clear course, makes tough decisions, and responds quickly to multiple issues. Strategic thinking, customer orientation, and effective communication. Strong virtual team and cross‑group coordination/collaboration, very strong communication and partnership skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Working knowledge of networking, PC and Mac workstations, workflow solutions, and color management theory. Travel required, approximately 80%.
