Hybrid - Entry Level Outbound Customer Support

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Collections Department. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding their accounts, providing exceptional service while helping them resolve payment-related concerns. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who enjoys helping customers, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced call center environment. You'll assist customers by answering questions, reviewing account details, discussing payment options, and providing solutions that support both the customer and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls in a call center production environment.
• Utilize an automated dialing system to contact customers regarding account-related matters.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding account status, payment options, and available resources.
• Assist customers with resolving early-stage delinquent accounts that are generally 1 to 30 days past due.
• Maintain daily productivity expectations while managing approximately 80-120+ customer interactions per day.
• Review customer situations and recommend appropriate payment solutions.
• Build rapport with customers while maintaining professionalism and empathy during sensitive conversations.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, account updates, payment commitments, and resolutions within company systems.
• Navigate multiple software applications simultaneously while speaking with customers.
• Meet established performance metrics related to customer service, call quality, attendance, productivity, and account resolution.
• Adhere to company policies, compliance requirements, and customer privacy standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berryville, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.95 - $18.95/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
