The program is supported by a dedicated team of 14 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs).Our teams are dedicated to cultivating an environment where every individual feels recognized, appreciated, and supported, enabling them to perform at their best for themselves and our patients. Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to this foundation, and we seek to continue to grow their impact and scope of practice throughout our hospitals.**Highlights Include:*** **ICU Model: Open ICU with in-person Critical Care coverage from 7a-7p and eICU support overnight (7p-7a), Vent management is provided by the critical care team.*** Schedule: 7 shifts per 14-day period using blocked schedule model* Admissions: Primary focus on rounding patients; limited admissions until the arrival of the admitting APP at 9pm* Admission distribution is shared evenly among the team, with an average of approximately two admissions per provider by 11am* No procedural or ICU responsibilities* Care primarily involves observation patients and selected low-acuity medical patients* Supervising physician at all times* **$10,000 Commencement Bonus*** Shift differential included**Qualifications:*** Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) or Physician Assistant* Prior ICU nursing background preferred* Clinical rotation experience must include inpatient hospital medicine and/or intensive care experience**Benefit Highlights:*** Comprehensive Benefits and Retirement package* Malpractice and Tail coverage* Licensure Renewals Paid* $3,000 Annual CME allowance* $5,000 Annual QPI Bonus* $10,000 Student Loan Reimbursement Program* Fully integrated EHR (Epic)* PSLF Eligible, Non-ProfitSuffolk offers a unique combination of **small-town charm and modern convenience**, making it an appealing place to live.
