Bring your passion for school nursing to a rewarding part-time role supporting students from early childhood through young adulthood. This contract position runs ASAP through June 11, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact across a diverse student population. Working 25 hours per week, you will serve as a substitute RN, ensuring high-quality healthcare for students aged 3 to 22 in a dynamic educational setting. Flexibility is key, as each assignment may fall within the 6am to 4pm window, reflecting varied school shift needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in Washington State
• Previous experience in school nursing or working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
• Ability to adapt and effectively serve students with a broad range of medical and developmental needs
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
• Skilled in emergency response, health education, and care plan implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily and emergency nursing care to students ages 3–22
• Support health screenings, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Partner with educators and administrative staff to develop and execute individualized healthcare plans
• Keep accurate and confidential health records in accordance with district and state protocols
• Educate students and staff on health topics, hygiene, and safety practices
• Travel within the district to cover needs in various school environments
