Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or with physician collaboration (depending on credentialing)
• Providing valuable education to patients and families on preventive measures, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in line with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or the ability to obtain these within 90 days
