Job Title

Travel RN – Critical Care Float Pool

Location

Albany, New York

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple critical care environments including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
• Provide ICU-level care to patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement
• Demonstrate competency and flexibility in adapting to varying patient populations and acuity levels across units
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care consistent with Level I trauma center standards
• Complete a required competency assessment within 24 hours of submission

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability and willingness to float to a variety of critical care units
• Navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level I trauma center setting
• Experience floating across multiple ICU environments
• Familiarity with progressive critical care and step-down patient populations
