Senior Golang Backend Engineer
$40 per hourTemporary
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Senior Goland Backend Developer to join their Platform Engineering team supporting an enterprise-wide, production platform. This role is deeply backend-focused and centered on building, evolving, and scaling platform services that enable internal teams across the organization. What You'll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Golang and Node/Javascript
- Contribute to a shared, enterprise-scale platform architecture
- Build abstractions and APIs that simplify underlying Google Cloud complexity for partner teams
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and new feature delivery
- Partner with internal development teams migrating onto the platform
- Emphasize reliability, scalability, and stability as platform adoption grows
- Leverage modern tooling and AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and code quality
- Strong, hands-on Golang development experience
- Senior-level backend engineering background
- Experience building and supporting backend services or microservices
- Comfort working in cloud-native environments
- Platform-minded, enterprise-scale engineering experience
- Strong software design, problem-solving, and code quality skills
- Experience with Go, Database, Schemas, Terraform, JSON, JS
