Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing specialized knowledge and skills. This role includes working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in interventional procedures. Shift Details
- Schedule: Days, 4x9-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
- Alternating 8-hour shifts available: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 10-hour shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- On-call requirements: One weekend every four weeks plus 2-3 weekdays
- Must arrive within 30 minutes when on-call
- One holiday on-call required
- Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses to anesthesia and sedation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and protocols in the unit
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Experience in neurointerventional procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
