Patient Authorization & Referral Representative USFHP
Make a meaningful impact where care begins. As a Patient Authorization & Referral Representative for US Family Health Plan (USFHP), you play a critical role in ensuring patients receive the right care at the right timewithout delays.
In this fast-paced, patient-focused role, you'll be the expert navigating referrals, verifying authorizations, and coordinating with providers and clinical teams. Your attention to detail and commitment to service helps eliminate barriers to care and creates a seamless experience for patients and families who rely on USFHP.
US Family Health Plan is a Department of Defense-sponsored health plan for uniformed services members, retirees and their family members. Based in Washington State, PacMed has administered US Family Health Plan for more than 30 years. We have learned best practices that keep people healthy efficiently and affordably. Provides the administrative functions needed to support a smooth, efficient referral process; assists the utilization review and case management nurse with management of referrals and monitoring or institutional patients.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 years Experience in medical related field.
- Previous experience in UR, health plan, or managed care environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LPN or health data services coder.
