We are looking to hire a Pharmacy Tech I! As a Pharmacy Tech I at MercyOne Genesis, you will: Assist the Staff Pharmacists in providing professional Pharmacy services Perform in any functional area of the Department to provide accurate and efficient dispensing of medications Schedule: 32 hrs a week Rotating shifts Rotating weekends Rotating holidays General Requirements: High school diploma or GED Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy within 60 days of employment as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. The Pharmacy technicians shall be required to submit proof of certification as a certified pharmacy technician, proof of enrollment in a first professional degree program in pharmacy, or proof of enrollment in clinical training by a graduate of a foreign pharmacy program for the first renewal or restoration that occurs after the license has been issued for at least 2 years, regardless of whether or not the license has been active, inactive, or not renewed. Annual pharmacy tech license renewal occurs by March 31st every other year.
