POSITION DETAILS: Full‑time inpatient GI hospitalist at Stony Brook University Hospital which is a 603‑bed hospital and the only tertiary care center in Suffolk County, LongIsland. 24 inpatient GI consult weeks (Monday‑Friday only) per year. Minimal weekend and night coverage. Inpatient team includes gastroenterology fellows and advanced practice providers. No outpatient responsibilities. Ideal for work‑life integration. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MD (or foreign equivalent). Board Certified in Internal Medicine, BC/BE in Gastroenterology. Experience in clinical care and teaching. Skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in the gastroenterological care of patients admitted to the hospital.
