Novant Health Cancer Institute - Matthews is seeking an RN for an oncology position. This is a travel opportunity with a shift from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, working 5 shifts per week for 40 scheduled hours. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 07/02/2026 and ending on 10/01/2026.
The job requires a minimum of 2 years of oncology-specific experience, BCLS, and ONS Chemo/Bio Card certifications. Skills include administering chemotherapy and central line experience. Float between Matthews and Ballantyne Clinics is required. No call, weekends, or pre-shift COVID screening is needed.
Patient diagnoses include adults over the age of 18 in hematology and medical oncology. The unit uses Pyxis, Epic, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams. Ambulatory infusion pumps are used for special equipment. An 8-hour orientation is required, and scrubs are not provided.
Local candidates within 50 miles receive a lower rate. Travel pairs are allowed on different units. Modules required are non-billable, and references can be pending at submission.
