Quality Manager – Utility-Scale Renewable Energy / BESS Honeycomb Project | Utility-Scale Renewable Energy Construction LEAD QUALITY IN THE FIELD. CATCH ISSUES BEFORE THEY BECOME PROBLEMS. Per Sé Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support construction of a large-scale renewable energy project. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for implementing the project quality program, overseeing inspections, identifying deficiencies, and ensuring construction meets drawings, specifications, codes, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices. Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience is highly preferred , although strong candidates with quality leadership experience across solar, wind, substations, or other utility-scale energy construction will also be considered. WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead implementation of the site Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) program Review IFC drawings, specifications, contracts, installation manuals, submittals, codes, and standards Coordinate pre-construction quality alignment meetings with EPC contractors Oversee quality activities across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical construction Manage Quality Inspectors and field inspection activities, as applicable Conduct quality surveillance and identify installation deficiencies and potential systemic issues Participate in First Build / Golden Row / Golden Tower inspections Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions Review contractor inspection checklists, testing documentation, and calibration records Monitor construction for compliance with manufacturer requirements and applicable industry standards Analyze inspection results and trends to drive continuous improvement Maintain quality records, lessons learned, and project documentation Partner with Construction and Safety leadership to promote safe, high-quality project execution WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT 3–5+ years of construction quality / QA/QC experience Quality management experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects BESS / utility-scale battery construction experience strongly preferred Experience with solar, wind, substations, or other power generation projects also highly valued Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contract exhibits, and installation requirements Knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, testing, inspection, and equipment calibration requirements Experience leading inspectors or other field quality personnel preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality risks before they impact the project Excellent communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote Per Sé Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
