Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) is needed for a healthcare facility located in Richland, Washington. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric and adult patients within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment. The role requires flexibility to float between units and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, with a shift length of 12 hours.
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse license, valid Allied license in hand, 2 years of experience, and specialized certifications including ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, and RRT.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 NICU experience with proficiency in nitric oxide, jet, and oscillator ventilation. Experience with high-risk neonatal and trauma ICU patients is also preferred.
• Float: Float rotation between units and departments may be required. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to adapt to different patient needs and unit operations.
• Additional Information:
  • The position involves working within a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment supported by IV teams, respiratory services, and other allied health professionals.
  • Orientation includes 40 hours of pre-start training.
  • Candidates must be able to work with critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients, utilizing advanced respiratory equipment such as high-frequency ventilators and nitric oxide delivery systems.
  • The start date for this assignment is July 20, 2026.
  • Eligible candidates must include detailed interview availability, including specific time zones and multiple options, to streamline scheduling.
  • Candidates are required to have worked at a healthcare facility in the US within the last 3 years, with references covering at least 1 year.
