Total Storm Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Roofing Consultant to join our growing team as an independent contractor (1099) . This is a commission-only outside sales position designed for individuals who are competitive, self-driven, and comfortable working in the field.

The Sales Roofing Consultant plays a critical role in identifying storm-damaged properties, performing roof inspections, educating homeowners on restoration solutions, and guiding customers through the insurance claims process when applicable.

This role requires individuals who are comfortable climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and working at heights while maintaining a professional and safety-first mindset.

• Prospect neighborhoods and identify potential storm-damaged properties
• Generate leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and networking
• Build relationships with homeowners and property owners
• Schedule and conduct roof inspections and consultations

• Safely climb ladders and walk on residential roofs to assess storm damage
• Document roof conditions through photos and inspection reports
• Identify hail, wind, and weather-related damage

• Educate homeowners on roofing systems and restoration options
• Explain the insurance claim process and assist customers when applicable
• Provide project guidance from inspection through installation

• Communicate project details with internal production and operations teams
• Ensure customer expectations are met throughout the restoration process
• Maintain strong client relationships and follow up after project completion

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs
• Must not be afraid of heights
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Experience

• Previous sales experience (preferably in roofing or solar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Smartphone for communication, photos, and CRM tools
• Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset

Commission Only (1099 Independent Contractor)
