Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all front-of-house food and beverage operations at a hotel property in Kissimmee. This role manages the daily breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner service, and supports additional locations as needed. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels at building strong teams, maintaining brand standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and service performance of the hotel's food and beverage outlets. This includes supervising breakfast attendants, servers, bartenders, and support staff; ensuring consistent quality across all meal periods; and coordinating with other properties during occasional travel assignments.

Key Responsibilities
Breakfast Buffet Management

• Oversee daily breakfast buffet setup, presentation, replenishment, and breakdown
• Ensure food quality, temperature control, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Lead breakfast attendants and support staff to maintain an efficient, welcoming environment
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate production with kitchen teams

Lunch & Dinner Service Oversight

• Manage front-of-house operations for lunch and dinner service, including opening/closing procedures
• Ensure consistent service standards, menu execution, and dining room cleanliness
• Support bar operations when applicable, ensuring responsible service and product quality
• Maintain smooth service flow, guest satisfaction, and timely issue resolution

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise F&B staff across all meal periods
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when needed
• Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused team culture
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and labor management aligned with business needs

Guest Experience

• Maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak service times
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns
• Drive high guest satisfaction scores and support brand audit performance
• Implement service improvements based on guest feedback and operational trends

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

• Manage labor, food cost, and beverage cost to meet budget targets
• Oversee ordering, inventory control, and vendor relationships
• Support menu planning, pricing, and promotional initiatives
• Maintain accurate logs, temperature records, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations

Travel Expectations

• Provide operational support to additional hotel locations as needed
• Assist with openings, training, audits, or coverage during leadership gaps
• Travel is occasional and scheduled in advance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of food and beverage leadership experience in a hotel or full-service restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and service standards
• Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
• Experience with inventory management, cost controls, and scheduling
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and guest service skills
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

The salary range for this role would be $70-80,000.
Travel: Occasional travel to additional hotel properties, approximately 25%.
