REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY Location: New York, NY HYBRID Our client, an AmLaw 100 global law firm , is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its thriving Real Estate Practice Group in New York . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work within a collaborative team of over 80 real estate attorneys across the country, advising on complex, high-value transactions that shape the commercial real estate landscape. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing, (or within one year of joining the firm) 2-5 years of substantive real estate transactional experience Experience representing lenders and/or borrowers in real estate financings , acquisitions , dispositions , development projects , leasing , and joint ventures Prior experience at a large law firm or sophisticated real estate practice is highly preferred Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a high attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Collaborative mindset, professionalism, and enthusiasm for client service are essential Key Responsibilities Support senior attorneys in structuring , drafting , and negotiating a wide variety of real estate transactions , including financing, acquisition, development, and joint venture matters Conduct due diligence and coordinate closing processes for complex real estate deals Prepare and review key transactional documents such as loan agreements, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and joint venture agreements Advise clients on real estate and financing matters, delivering practical, business-oriented guidance Collaborate across practice groups, including corporate and tax, to deliver comprehensive solutions for clients' real estate projects Develop strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders through responsiveness and high-quality work Why Join Us?
