Human Resources And Admin Manager

Grefort Electrical, Inc. provides engineered components and solutions to power equipment manufacturers in the U.S. market. We are expanding our U.S. customer base and manufacturing capabilities to serve the growing needs of the North American power equipment market.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR and Admin Manager to oversee all aspects of our human resources and facility administration functions at our new factory in Wilson, NC. Because this is a new facility, this role involves significant “0-1” setup responsibilities. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the employee experience while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This position requires an experienced professional with a hands-on approach to hiring, talent management, daily office administration, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the human resources system for the new factory, including drafting policy documents, employee handbooks, procedures, and personnel systems from the ground up.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee relations.
• Support payroll, benefits, and HR policy administration.
• Coordinate training and performance management activities.
• Handle office administration, facility management, and company events.
• Responsible for outsourcing management, compliance management, and corporate culture management.
• Support daily communication and coordination related to office IT systems, network, computers, and user issues.
• Assist management with daily operational coordination.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with corporate standards.
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor or company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of HR and administration experience.
• Experience in start-up manufacturing factories is highly preferred.
• Experience in the transformer industry is highly preferred.
• Familiar with U.S. labor laws and HR practices.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Empathy and the ability to build trust with employees.
