Maintenance Mechanic Details:

• Direct hire position
• $ 62,400.00 / annually
• Weekend work required
• Third shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00pm to 04:30am)

Job Details:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
• Conduct repairs to building structure, utilities, and surrounding grounds as needed
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Support process improvement initiatives to meet production, quality, and efficiency KPIs
• Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance team members
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance, calibration, and equipment usage, and manage spare parts inventory

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading schematics and technical documents
• Experience with packaging equipment (form/fill/seal machines such as HMC, Bartelt, etc.) preferred
• Working knowledge of process controls, manufacturing equipment, and standard tools/measuring devices
• Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English
• Proficiency with basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
