Quality Assurance Technician Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a machine manufacturer in Audubon, MN. We’re seeking candidates for Quality Assurance Technician roles. Compensation for these temp opportunities ranges between $19.30-$27.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What You Will Do As A Quality Assurance Technician:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
• Provide metrology support and assistance to manufacturing and engineering by performing first article inspections, capability studies, and gaged R&R studies
• Perform basic CMM inspections as assigned and under guidance of QA Tech II or QE
• Perform basic calibration, gage set up, and repair as assigned and under guidance of QA Tech II or QE.
• Perform and complete documentation for Final Audits
• Coordinate containment and tagging of Nonconforming product. Generate Nonconformance Reports
• Review and supply inspection data using applicable software and or forms
• Participate in cross-functional teams as needed

What You Need To Be A Quality Assurance Technician:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Knowledge and experience to accurately operate standard measurement equipment
• Ability to read and follow instructions, correspondence and memos
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• Knowledge of computer software - Microsoft Office, Outlook, and InfoPath-type software
