Warehouse Equipment Operator

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM. Half Hour Lunch

About the Job

The Warehouse Equipment Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a clean, modern facility with a strong emphasis on safety. This role involves operating material-handling equipment, accurately moving product, and supporting shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks and ride-along pallet jacks
Perform order picking accurately and efficiently based on pick lists or system instructions
Support shipping and receiving functions, including loading, unloading, and staging product
Transport pallets and product safely throughout the warehouse
Inspect equipment daily and report any safety or maintenance issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and organizational policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience operating reach trucks and ride-along pallet jacks
Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Strong order picking and inventory handling skills
Ability to work early morning shifts (3:00 AM start)
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
