Internal Medicine Physician | Full-Time
Location: Southbury
Affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine | Not-for-Profit Healthcare System
A well-established, community-focused, not-for-profit healthcare organization in the Southbury, Connecticut area is actively seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join its growing primary care team. This organization maintains a strong academic affiliation with the Yale School of Medicine, offering opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and continued professional development.
New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply!
Position Overview• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services to adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions • Emphasize preventive care, wellness visits, and population health initiatives • Coordinate care with specialists, hospitalists, and ancillary services • Participate in shared call coverage • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR • Engage in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives Qualifications• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Connecticut State medical licensure • Active or eligible DEA registration • Strong clinical and communication skills • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care Compensation & BenefitsCompensation is open to discussion and commensurate with experience.
