Hyundai Warranty Administrator

Job TitlePrepares, records, and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.$30-$40 depending on experience.Essential DutiesProcesses warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributorProcesses all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentationVerifies criteria required by factory or distributorWork with Technicians, Service Advisors, and Service Manager to ensure proper documentation. If more information is needed, work with them to obtain it.Communicate with OEM/Factory, when needed, for claim submission.Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting scheduleMust comply with privacy laws and dutiesPosts credits on computerResubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them offFollows up on payment of outstanding claimsTracks warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposedArranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor, or to be scrappedFiles and maintains all service records as required by the warrantorKeeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletinsAssists with body shop warranty claims as neededAssists with the cashier and telephone operator duties as neededAssists with any clerical needs as directed by the Service ManagerMaintains a professional appearance and a neat work areaMarginal DutiesBeing a team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentOther duties as assignedStrong communicatorBud Clary Auto Group is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
