Cloud Computing Cyber Engineer

DescriptionSAIC is hiring a Cloud Computing Cyber Engineer for the SAIC Cloud One Digital Engineering Team. This team is responsible for the architecture, engineering and sustainment of the Air Force Cloud Digital Engineering platform currently deployed on AWS and Azure Cloud. This work supports the Cloud One Digital Engineering program under the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center Office for Network Integration (AFLCMC/HNI). Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data serving the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and other Government Customers. Cloud One facilitates the Government's efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF operations. This position is a hybrid remote requiring a percentage of time spent onsite in a SIPRnet facility. Candidates must live near Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, MA, Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, AL, Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, Charleston, SC or any approved SIPRnet facility. QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelors and five (5) years or more of experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experienceAdditional four (4) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeRequired Clearance:Active Interim secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance required to maintain employmentUS Citizenship requiredRequired Certifications:Security + or Equivalent Required Experience and Skills:Demonstrated experience with: AWS and Azure Clouds, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, and GuacamoleKnowledge of and experience working with DevSecOps tool chainsExperience preparing technical documentationProven experience remediating IAVA vulnerabilities and preparing SAR reportsExperience configuring and troubleshooting cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systemsExperience proactively identifying and resolving operational, tooling and process inefficienciesExperience preparing and interpreting ACAS and SCAP for vulnerability scanningExperience working in a team environment with the ability to mentor junior team membersDesired Experience and Skills:AWS or Azure Cloud Certification with experience as a Cloud EngineerZero trust architecturesAF Cloud One or Platform 1 development, engineering, operations and sustainmentExperience installing DE tools including Cameo, SPARX, MathWorks, and AFSIMIn-depth understanding of, and experience as a cloud engineer with AWS, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, storage, Azure AD, F5, BarracudaExperience installing and supporting vendor digital engineering / MBSE tools to include NoMagic Cameo, IBM DOORS, Sparx, MathWorks MATLAB, Dassault 3DS, and othersJob Field: Information TechnologyTravel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
