Special Education High School Teacher

Garfield Park Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our vocational school team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs.

About the Role Design and deliver individualized instruction that supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth within a structured, inclusive classroom.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals

· Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

· Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment

· Monitor progress and maintain documentation

· Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary staff

Qualifications

· New Jersey Teacher Certification in English, Math, Science, and/or History is required

· Special Education Certification and Middle or High School experience preferred

· Strong classroom management and communication skills

· Team-oriented with a commitment to inclusive education
