Job Overview and Qualifications

Position Summary: This role involves providing leadership that enhances the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. The nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, will be utilized to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for both patients and their families. You will also implement medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications Needed:

• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Required Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. An eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may be applicable; candidates should verify with the NCBON. Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: National Certification in a specialty area
• Required Experience: Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
