Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and functional abilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various modalities such as therapeutic exercise, hands-on manual therapy, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for self-management.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss patient progress and coordinate care effectively.
• Train and mentor new staff and students in best practices, maintaining a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from pediatric to geriatric individuals dealing with various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
